Fab 5 Abandoned Dogs Medical Fund

On Monday, November 27th, the Port St. Lucie Police Department and Port St. Lucie Animal Control confiscated 5 dogs from a Port St. Lucie home and brought them to the Humane Society of St. Lucie County.

Sissy, Nala, Moose, Chaos, and Danny (The Fab 5) were left to die in that home. Five beautiful dogs that should be rolling around in the grass, being spoiled with toys and treats, and smothering their families in kisses were abandoned for over a month with little or no food and water. They all were emaciated with Sissy and Nala the worst off. Sissy is an American Bulldog who should weigh 80-90lbs and instead weighs half that. All of them have several medical issues the Humane Society of St. Lucie is treating.

Despite the horrific conditions and abuse they lived through each of them loves the warm embrace of a human companion. Some enjoy giving slobbery kisses and others are just big, goofy lap dogs. EACH and EVERY one of them deserve to spend the rest of their lives with a loving family.

They have a long road ahead in their recovery, but with the help of our community we know they will back and better than ever.

Each and every donation will go towards the Fab 5's medical care and any funds in excess will help treat future illnesses of abused or neglected animals in our community.
