Paws in the Park

Join us on Saturday, Feb. 4, in Tradition Square for the Humane Society of St. Lucie’s annual Paws in the Park Walk. The theme for this year’s walk will be “All you need is love,” highlighting the positive impact our pets have the lives of our families.

This annual event attracts hundreds of local animal lovers and is a fantastic morning with beautiful Treasure Coast weather that allows pet owners from our community make new friends and support a great cause.

Paws in the Park will begin with registration/check-in at 7:30 a.m. with the walk commencing at 8 a.m. After the walk have some fun with our selfie and kissing booth (from the most adorable pets). At 9:15 a.m. our local sheriff’s K-9 unit will perform a demonstration you do not want to miss.

In addition, we will be hosting a low-cost rabies vaccination and microchip clinic for our community. Each rabies vaccination will be $10, Microchip $20, and $25 for a microchip and vaccination.

Paws in the Park will help benefit 6,000 homeless pets in our care. Proceeds from the event will help provide low cost spay/neuter, medical care, and resources for our foster program. Registration for Paws in the Park will be a $25 donation, with teams of five walkers for a $100 donation. You can register by call 772-672-8238 or by completing the form below.
