Fire up your friends, family and co-workers and join us for the 2nd Annual Treasure Coast BBQ Championship! Veterans Park/Riverwalk Center, 600 N. Indian River Drive, is the place to be on Saturday, May 11 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. All proceeds from the event benefit the Humane Society of St. Lucie County.
From the Battle at BBQ Junction (a/k/a the Iron Chef Competition) and Dessert Contest on Friday evening, May 10, to the all-day festivities on Saturday, May 11, there is something for everyone and lots of fun memories to make! Sanctioned by the Florida BBQ Association, the event includes 30 Professional BBQ teams from all over competing for thousands in prize money and trophies, and many local Backyard BBQ teams are still signing up for a day of fun, food, beer and music. Visit the People’s Choice Awards booth and vote for your own favorite chicken, pork, ribs and brisket BBQ. There will be lots activities for children and plenty of vendors to round out the day.
